Presidents Message:
I hope this message finds you and yours well and in good health.
“July is nature’s way of telling us to pause, breathe, and just exist.”
Last month we celebrated Seniors Week, with a variety of events taking place at
different locations throughout our community. Our club proudly hosted two
Events a Sock Hop and a crib tournament and I’m pleased to say that both
were very well attended. Thank you to everyone who volunteered, participated,
and helped make these events such a success.
Looking ahead, we have the Vice President’s BBQ coming up this month. The
response has been outstanding, and I am happy to report that the event is already
sold out. Thank you to everyone for your continued enthusiasm and support. We
look forward to another great gathering together.
A friendly reminder that we are still looking for a volunteer to take on the role of
Treasurer. Please keep a watchful eye out for someone who would be a good fit
for this important position. If you know someone with good organizational and
financial skills who may be interested, encourage them to speak with a member
of the Executive. Your help in finding the right person is greatly appreciated.
Community Links Ideas
There is no Community Links presentation in July and August. The next presentation will be on September 2nd. If you have any ideas for these presentations they can be forwarded to social@airdrieover50club.com for consideration by the Community Links coordinator.
