Presidents Message

I hope this message finds you and yours well and in good health.

Seniors Week was an immense success!

Thank you to all the volunteers who made the three events possible your efforts truly made a difference. We learned a few things along the way that will help make future events even better.

Vice President BBQ tickets are SOLD OUT!

Tickets went quickly, so when you hear about an upcoming event and think you might want to attend do not wait too long to get your tickets!

Help Needed for Club Painting

We will be painting the club early July and need volunteers to help remove items from the walls and move things away from the walls. The dates are not yet finalized, but we will send out an email requesting volunteers once they are confirmed. The more hands we have, the faster the job will get done! We know it is a busy time of year, but please try to make some time for the club if you can.

Thank you all for your ongoing support and participation. Let’s keep making the most of our amazing club!

Reminders

There will be no activities at the Club during the week of July 7th-11th.

The following activities are taking a break for the months of July and August

Bean Bag Toss 1:00 pm Wednesday, Canasta 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm Tuesday, Floor Curling 9:30 am Saturday, Keep Fit Tuesday and Thursday at 9:15 am, and Mahjong 1:00 pm Friday.

The following Activities will continue through July and August.

Carpet Bowling, Crib, Darts, Euchre, Floor Curling (Friday), Pool, Shuffleboard, and Table Tennis.

Ballroom Dance Lessons Available

Dave & Norma, our Dance Activity Leaders and professional instructors, are offering ballroom dance lessons exclusively for club members at just $5.00 per person.

All fees go directly to support the Club’s finances. If you are interested, please contact them at 403-980-2779.

July 4th – Chair Yoga is cancelled but will continue throughout the remainder of July and August.

July 16th – Vice-President Barbecue-This event is sold out.

July 26th - there is an event at T&C Park. There will be up to three hundred people in attendance. Parking will be limited.
